Global communications test leader Anritsu Company wanted to re-enforce its 5G leadership. Leveraging an all-inclusive program integrating public relations, social media, and content creation built off a knowledge of the market and technology, 3E PR successfully implemented a year-long campaign that clearly established Anritsu as a 5G leader.

Challenge:

Establish and maintain a leadership role in an emerging technology and highlight clear differentiators from the competition. Position Anritsu as the “go-to” resource for 5G testing through the entire ecosystem – R&D, production, and installation & maintenance.

Action:

Public Relations – 3E PR instituted a pro-active campaign featuring media relations, writing of releases and articles, speaking engagements, and award submissions. The campaign highlighted Anritsu’s 5G technical prowess, industry affiliations, and product innovations.

Social Media – Daily organic content was written and posted on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. We also engaged with partners, associations, media, and customers to create on-going dialogue that drove traffic to lead-generating and thought-leadership tools.

Content – Conducted industry research and interviews to write four white papers used as calls-to-action (CTAs). They focused on 5G use cases, 5R RAN (radio access networks), optical testing in 5G networks, and 5G RF signal analysis.

Results:

The campaign generated 111 editorial placements – including more than a dozen feature articles –  in key trade and business media focused on 5G. Anritsu also earned two industry awards related to the emerging technology.

Social media generated consistent traffic to landing pages for 5G road shows, webinars, and the white papers. Those efforts had a noticeable impact on event registration and leads generated.
