Summary: Ascendia needed to highlight their inventive technology being used in new drug development. The 3E PR team accomplished this through curating content, public relations, and social media development.
Challenge: Position an emerging CDMO as an innovator in early stage drug development. Emphasize proprietary technology and team of scientists as specialists in a growing segment – poorly soluble drugs.
Action: Implement multi-pronged content program that incorporated:
- Content – Developed regular blogs and news stories on websites to emphasize key messages, differentiators and trends in the market. Also developed application notes/ white papers that were used as thought-leadership and lead gen materials.
- Public Relations – Strategic PR campaign that emphasized thought-leadership opportunities, including by-lined articles, interviews for inclusion key articles, and awards.
- Social Media – Implemented opportunistic LinkedIN campaigns focused on technical content and trade shows; incorporated paid elements to reach larger audiences.
Results: Created a robust website with technical and SEO-friendly content that improved organic search rankings. Social media following and reach has doubled. Ascendia has achieved 100% growth year-over-year since campaign inception.
